The Parish Council Leader of Springsbury threatens to convert the village’s historic forest into an entertainment complex for profit. Mr. Thornton, a sentimental outcast, attempts to rally the community against it by devising an elaborate hoax.

This peculiar narrative, dreamt up by Matthew Feurtado and I, gave me the opportunity to work with professional actors and experiment with new animation techniques. 

27 people worked on this ambitious short film, during the heat of the pandemic in 2021, marking my own deep-dive into the role of Director.

Production involved building a shed, transporting the shed to a forest, recording with voice actors and filming with a kestrel.
